About Mia
People sometimes ask why I'm willing to share the hardest parts of my life.
The answer is simple.
Because someone else's story once gave me permission to believe my life could be different.
If sharing mine helps even one person ask a better question, trust themselves a little more, or realize they still have a choice, then every difficult page was worth writing.
That's why I write.
About the Author
Mia GiAngelos is the author of Broken Wings and Go Love Yourself, memoirs that explore healing, choice, and the journey back to yourself.
I'm the author of Broken Wings and Go Love Yourself. I write memoirs that invite readers to walk beside me as I question the beliefs that shaped my life, challenge the fears that kept me small, and discover what becomes possible when we learn to trust ourselves again.
When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me exploring a new place, hiking a mountain trail, spending time near the ocean, riding horses, or quietly observing the everyday moments that often become the best stories.
I believe growth isn't something that happens all at once. It happens one honest choice at a time.
What I believe
• We always have a choice.
• Self-love isn't about becoming someone new. It's about finding the you you were always meant to be.
• Understanding isn't agreement. It's the willingness to see before you choose.
• The memories don't change. The meaning can.
• You don't put yourself on trial. You put your beliefs on trial.
